Episode 67: Yeah, It’s Timely, Motherf*#kers!

The rumors are true! Adam finally returns from his very important mission of spreading his charming brand of aloof elitism across the deep south.

Also, fan-favorite-female Molly stops by to poo-poo Shane’s Oscar talk formatting and to anchor The Scope’s Oscar predictions.

And, last (but not least,) Jared tries to destroy the space/time continuum by attempting to post the show to the internet BEFORE it is finished taping. We think he’s watching too much Lost.

“Adam’s art” is my new favorite segment.

    Hey load-shooters,

You continue to misunderstand my previous voice-mail message. The point is not that I want less about Adam, the point is that I want more about Shane & Jared. Equal time to get caught up with all 3 Scope hosts, dammit.

My suggestion for a topic for your forthcoming show which you were soliciting suggestions for: What movies have you never seen that you think the other Scope hosts would be shocked to find out you’ve never seen? Some examples of films I’ve never seen: Jaws, Dirty Dancing, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across The 8th Dimension. (This could also be expanded to include albums & T.V. shows)

Oh, and when doing your inevitable Oscars recap, I wanted to point out that Hugh Jackman’s opening number was written by Dan Harmon & Rob Schrab, whose other credits include “Scud: The Disposable Assassin” (best graphic novel ever), the Dead Alewives’ famous “Dungeouns & Dragons” sketch, “Channel 101”, the movie “Monster House”, “The Sarah Silverman Program”, and much more. You can see Rob’s sketches for the recession-budget set pieces at his website robschrab.com

    See you at MarsCon,

    Luke Ski

    Ahoy lads,
Yet another great show. I am afraid I have invited all the friends I have, but hopefully they will listen and tell their friends about this great podcast.

And why does Adam sound like he holds everything in great disdain? So much hatred, Adam!
