It wouldn’t be summer if your Scope pals didn’t spend an episode covering all the big film releases between May and August (and by all films we really mean movies with super heroes, laser guns, and female nudity.)

Kicking off the season in style, Jared, Adam, and Shane give you, the loyal listener, a tremendous review of one of the most anticipated super hero films ever, Marvel’s The Avengers. Yes, we are so on top of things.

Oh, we also abandon the geek stuff just a little bit and talk athletics for fifteen minutes. Because what’s better than spending a quarter of an hour on the worst sports market in America?

The Scope episode 123 will never trust Uncle Sugar, no matter what Steve King says.

    Guys … You just blew my mind mentioning the potential of Alien and Blade Runner existing within the same universe. Is there anything within these films that would make it not possible? I now have nerd-chubby.
