Alas, the extended summer vacation is over and podcasting class is officially back in session for your Scope hosts. That means a lot of catching up (Adam’s tragic piñata violence and Jared’s repair woes, for instance.)

It also means a whole slew of new TV is on the horizon.

It also means The Scope is legally required to present their annual Fall TV Preview.

It also means a lot of talk about the best and worst shows coming to a telly (that’s British slang for “television”) near you.

You get the picture. But let it be said that this year’s preview show had it all: Michael Emerson imitations, boob talk, and preview clips made for, well, watching with eyeballs. Basically, everything that makes a great Scope Fall TV Preview. And for those of you that are SO over TV, The Scope crew still brings the noise with a robust News! and Coming Soon! segment. And it is done in a neat and tidy 2+ hours. Whoomp! There it is.

The Scope episode 114 may be the Dead Island of podcasting, but it still knows a thing or two about beautiful guyliner.

    No one mentioned Zooey Deschanel’s The New Girl? Guess it falls in the middle of must-see vs first-canceled. Curious to know how many of the Scope team’s significant others will be watching America’s Next Top Model All-Star Season, starting Wednesday 9/14.

    I loved Adam’s A-HA moment of Bengal/Bangle clarity. I hope I’m listening when he realizes it’s “supposedly,” not “supposably” as well!

    I believe New Girl is on both mine and Shane’s list to watch. As for Top Model, it’s common knowledge that Angela and I are avid viewers. I can’t speak for Adam and Shane, but I’d venture a guess the show is banned in their households.

    I get mushmouthed pretty often, so I hope that’s why it sounds like I said “supposably”, as I hate it when people speak that way.

    I can’t speak for J or S, but I avoided discussion of “The New Girl” because of my extreme dislike of Zooey Deschanel. I can’t explain it. I hope the show gets cancelled quickly, but it follows Glee, so I’m sure it’ll do fine.

    We only have one TV in my household. If M watches “Top Model”, it’s when I’m playing games or out of the house.
