Venom — Under The Scope | Movie Review

Usually, your Scope hosts get really excited when a new Marvel movie hits the silver screen. But what happens when the movie is made “in association with” Marvel? Well, then you get Venom, the first Sony Spidey Cinematic Universe spinoff…without any hint of Spider-Man.

So will Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, and the rest of the cast rise to the symbiotic occasion? Take a quick listen to Jared and Shane and they’ll give you the real Scope scoop!

The Predator — Under The Scope | Movie Review

In the first Scope movie review of the fall of 2018, Jared and Shane take a look at the latest attempt to bring a classic cinematic creature to a whole new audience. Of course we’re talking about The Predator. (Or maybe it wasn’t that obvious; you’re hard to read sometimes.)

Will this film, packed with actors you may know (and like!) and a sci-fi monster you’ve known since Arnold was in his prime, have what it takes to wow The Scope? Fire up your listening device and find out!

The Scope The Predator review thinks we’re all in Crazy Town.

Ant-Man and The Wasp — Under The Scope | Movie Review

In this latest Scope movie review, Jared and Shane take a look at the last Marvel Studios film of 2018, Ant-Man and The Wasp. In this more comedic caper, Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly try to bring slightly more fun to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (after Thanos wiped half of it out in the last Avengers film.)

But does this movie have enough to engage your Scope hosts? Take a listen and find out!

Won‘t You Be My Neighbor? — Under The Scope | Movie Review

Some summer movies don’t have to be about a star war or an iron man. Take the documentary, Won’t You Be My Neighbor?, for instance. It tells the real-life story of Fred Rogers (aka Mr. Rogers) and his quest to teach the children of America to be loving, empathic, fully-functioning humans.

It’s a feel-good tale that just might elicit a tear or two. But the real question is whether it’ll move Scope hosts Shane and Jared to give it a good review. Listen in and find out!

The Scope Won’t You Be My Neighbor will meow meow meow take you meow meow to the Land of Make-Believe meow meow.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom — Under The Scope | Movie Review

After a respectable return to form with 2015’s Jurassic World, the whole dino-gang is back with Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Pratt, Dallas Howard, Wong, and a special appearance by crazy-fun Goldblum try to deal with more ticked of T-Rexes (and a few greedy businessmen.)

But can this movie grow beyond just being another lackluster sequel? Let Scope hosts Jared and Shane help you find out!

The Scope Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom review is not a clone of the Jurassic World review.

Under The Scope | Movie Review: Ready Player One

Spielberg. Retro pop culture. Video games. Seems like the perfect formula for the perfect movie, right? Well, in the latest Scope review, Jared and Shane take a gander at the long-awaited adaptation of Ernst Cline’s nerdy opus, Ready Player One. On the surface, this film seems like it was made specifically for The Scope podcast. But will your dashing hosts agree with that sentiment? Take a listen and find out!

The Scope Ready Player One review is actually for the movie, Ready Plater One.
