Episode 195: Pat Smear and The Jelly-whatevers

Episode 195 of the Scope is all about what Jared, Adam, and Shane are into. This time around, the guys cover podcasts, music, and books. Because they’ll multifaceted and deep and stuff. (But don’t get too crazy: the podcasts are about wrestling. The music is popular. And the book is sci-fi.)

Still, it’s a solid bunch of stuff within a pretty solid edition of The Scope. So digest it at your earliest convenience, human!

The Scope episode 195 is the master of the figure four leg cast.

Under The Scope | Movie Review: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1

While The Scope may not be the first to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 review party (we like to think of it as being fashionably late) we still made it nonetheless. And you can count on Jared and Shane’s take on Katniss further adventures to be the definitive review on the internet.

Period.

(How’s that for unabashed hubris?)

At any rate, the review is ready for you, the Scope superfan. And if you aren’t a Scope superfan, you will be after you watch/listen to this.

Period.

The Scope The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 review doesn’t look good in a baggy, militaristic jump suit.

Episode 194: Let The Show Breathe

In this edition of The Scope, your hosts bring back an oh-so-popular bit called, “What The Kids Are Into.” Taylor Swift, of popular music fame, gets the full Scope review treatment this time around. Will Jared, Adam, and Shane possibly risk all coolness and credibility by giving her new album a glowing review? Well, why don’t you find out in this unusually short show?

The Scope episode 194 was so tight it has to steal comedy from the prior show. So here goes: ‘Sassin’s Creed: Apollo’s Redemption. Look it up.

Under The Scope | Movie Review: The Theory of Everything

Even on an unseasonably cold November evening, your Scope hosts have enough gumption and fortitude to head to the cinema when the moment requires it. This time around, Jared and Shane reviewed The Theory of Everything.

This movie tells the story of some lady named Jane and another dude named Hawking or something who may be really smart about science and stuff. And there may be some really good acting performances. It is that time of year, isn’t it? (And it’s also time for you to watch and/or listen to this review immediately. Get to it!)

The Scope The Theory of Everything review sorta looks like Bill Gates, too.

Episode 193: Gripin’ Stripes and Cat Static

Jared, Adam, and Shane return on the eve of a possible mega Minnesota snowstorm…but that doesn’t stop them from spilling all the beans. And by beans we mean talking about Shane’s new cat, the latest Tony Partington recording session, Adam’s wedding, Adam’s lovely mother, and the latest installment of the Scoper Bowl. (VII, if you are keeping track.)

It’s a jammed-packed show and the only way you are going to really enjoy it is by listening and/or watching. So why don’t you get to it already?

The Scope episode 193 definitely put the show agether.

Under The Scope | Movie Review: Dumb and Dumber To

It’s been 20 years since Harry and Lloyd graced the screen with a mind-boggling display of mental deficiency. Now, Peter and Bobby Farrelly bring back Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels to till familiar ground with Rob Riggle and Andrea from The Walking Dead. Does this sequel soar, or is it dumb on arrival? You’ll have listen to find out what we think.

The Scope Dumb and Dumber To review is a champion Funnel Nuts player.
